Special Reading Initiatives

Over the past few years, the learning environment in elementary schools has been modified to incorporate a variety of digital tools. This has influenced teaching and learning processes—including the acquisition of reading strategies—to the point that reading in digital environments has become integral to routine classroom activities in elementary schools. Additionally, teaching models have been developed and implemented within the framework of Hebrew and Arabic lessons to promote the integration of reading and linguistic skills with digital skills. Teacher education workshops guide teachers in the implementation of digital environments for reading.
