The TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center, Lynch School of Education, Boston College, in association with IEA, is pleased to announce the international release of the TIMSS 2007 results via webcast at Boston College on December 9, 2008. TIMSS 2007 is the fourth in a cycle of internationally comparative assessments dedicated to improving teaching and learning in mathematics and science for students around the world. Carried out every four years at the fourth and eighth grades, TIMSS provides data about trends in mathematics and science achievement over time. The press materials accompanying the press release are available for downloading from this web page.
