Dr. Victoria Centurino
Assistant Research Director, TIMSS Science and Special Projects

Dr. Victoria Centurino, the Coordinator for TIMSS, is working on the development of eTIMSS 2019, and on reporting activities for the 2015 cycle of TIMSS and TIMSS Advanced. She has contributed extensively to the TIMSS and TIMSS Advanced assessments frameworks, in addition to the development of the science assessments.

Prior to joining the TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center in 2011, for 16 years Dr. Centurino was the Director of Technology and a teacher of advanced mathematics, chemistry, and physics at an independent school in Massachusetts. She holds degrees in physics and applied mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a PhD candidate in the Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment (MESA) program at Boston College’s Lynch School of Education.
