The Polish Curriculum in Primary and Secondary Schools
The National Curriculum (first introduced in 2009) forms the basis of instruction in all schools.2 The National Curriculum divides education into four 3-year periods, and for each period it specifies teaching objectives and expected learning outcomes for each subject. All teachers are obliged to incorporate the National Curriculum into their own grade-specific syllabus or to choose a commercial syllabus.
