Use and Impact of TIMSS
TIMSS was administered in Florida on the state level in 2011, and the results were presented as an external piece of data for both the Educator Panel and the Reactor Panel to consider for the Florida Standards Assessment Standard Setting in Mathematics in the fall of 2015. TIMSS results were used by the panelists in informing their recommendations for the final cut scores for each of Florida’s five achievement levels.
